![]() Im having a lot of trouble setting it up. ![]() If you have any questions or if you need more details, please let me know. After running jack on my laptop with Ardour and other apps I decided to upgrade from the internal microphone to an external USB-based Rode NT-USB. Could it be a shielding issue?ĭoes anyone know what may cause the issue and how I can fix it with the original USB cable? Did anyone experience a similar issue? The one that resolves my issue is slightly thicker. I don't see a difference between the two. Besides that, I am wondering if the USB cable is actually causing the issue. Unfortunately the cable is integrated into the arm. You may say that I should switch to the working cable. I have used the exact same USB port and the same audio settings. Compatible with PC, Mac, iPad and most Android tablets. The noise disappeared! Please listen to this recording and compare it to the original recording. Overview - The Rode NT-USB is a versatile USB condenser microphone with zero latency monitoring and plug & play operation. After that, I tried to use a different USB cable (5 meter). ** I couldn't find an international web shop selling this arm.
