I compiled the EDID identifier tool, but it didn't seem to work, it's also old and may not work against a newer libusb etc. I did some digging and found old mailing list archives from 2014 which all seemed to be dead ends in regards to this device. The USB IDs aren't even recognised properly. I just got one, and it doesn't do anything when you plug it in. It looks like these devices are not supported (yet/ever?).
